First, before I design this wallet for my partner, Robbi, I will interview him to find out what his ideal wallet looks like. Do a survey based on his favorite colors, materials, wallet size, and functionality, and then enter my sketch design. Robbi is a big basketball fan and would love to have the logo of his favorite team on his wallet. In terms of color, he likes to keep a low profile. The material requirement is striped leather. He prefers a foldable wallet because he wants to travel more easily. Also, he would like to have more room in his wallet for some photos, because he is a sensitive person. Below is a draft of my design for him.

We then had a second conversation, making Suggestions for each other's original design ideas. In this talk, Robbi emphasized that portability was the content he paid more attention to. Since he only carried a small amount of cash when he went out, he hoped that I could change the thickness from 3 layers to 2 layers, and the choice of materials needed to be more portable. Also, he would rather have more photos than just two. Based on his needs, I decided to replace some of our most common leathers with a new type of composite leather material that can reduce the total mass of the wallet by 20 percent while also making it more durable. Then I cut four photos from two, so he could see more. After many discussions, we were satisfied with each other's design, so we used some simple equipment to make a simple wallet model. The wallet can hold a small number of COINS and cash at the same time. There are four card slots and four short photo storage layers. Since I forgot to take a picture of my model, I decided to put the image of the wallet that Robbi designed for me here, because I like his design!
