The case study I choose is the Future craft strung.

STRUNG is a brand-new textile production method, specifically to produce high-performance shoe uppers. The process can be classified as neither knitting nor weaving, allowing multi-directional peculiarities without being restricted by traditional textiles' weft and bulky logic.

A fully integrated design and manufacturing environment allow us to create lightweight shoe uppers, where each thread is carefully laid out to achieve a seamless, lightweight fit. The STRUNG process encodes the function at the exact location the athlete requires, placing it in a single piece of material without restraining redundant components or seams.

This cross-domain industrial design combines the hard work of art, technology and engineering software engineers. This is a product of the future, and its appearance is full of technology.

One of the main ideas of transitional design is to transform the current design into a future style. I think Adidas' new sneakers make good use of this core content. Continuously update and iterate in the original products, in line with the development needs of future design. The materials used are also very environmentally friendly, will not pollute the environment, and meet the production needs of the future society.

From the new technology of shoes, we can see the progress of the times in our daily life products. Creation is one of the cores of transitional design.

Combining case studies and my usual creative inspiration, I will often make some transitional designs in clothes and pants. For example, some new materials can ensure that the clothes are not wrinkled, and the colour of the dresses can be changed automatically according to their preferences. This looks very innovative, but we need to consider future environmental issues. The various inspirations accumulated in daily life will motivate me to continue to love design and love life.
